The Church of Christ are those of us who have obeyed the doctrine of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (Luke 6:46), through the call of His gospel (II Thessalonians 2:14), according to the way that the Lord has said come: responding to the hearing of God's word through obedience (Romans 10:17), believing His word (Hebrews 11:6), repented of our sins (Luke 13:3-5, II Peter 3:9), confessing Jesus to be the Son of God (Romans 10:9-10, Matthew 10:32-33), and being baptized for the remission of sins (Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38), at which time, God adds us to the church (Acts 2:47) and with the desire for the sincere milk of the word; we may grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord (I Peter 2:2, II Peter 3:18), being faithful until death (Revelations 2:10).
